Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment in order to move material throughout shop and on/off trucks
• Cut stock material down to size and form to specifications
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment in order to move material throughout the shop
• Locate beams, tubes, angle, channel, bar grating, pipe, plate, or rounds according to the layout shown on yard map, cut lists and shop drawings
• Any other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Attributes

• Two plus years in a manufacturing environment with experience operating forklifts and cranes
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and in steel processing equipment, such as, saw, grinders, and CNC equipment
• Good attendance
• Good work ethic - must be self-motivated and have a good attitude
• Willingness to do a variety of tasks
• Attention to detail and desire to produce quality product
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
