Job Title: Technical Lead (ZT007)

Job description:
Deploy software solutions to meet business needs. Define technical requirements and perform requirement analysis and documentation. Design and develop templates for ELN/LIMS environment and data warehouse reporting. Perform analysis, design and coding for each template and reporting need. Develop datalinks and integrations with external lab applications. Drive efficiency and operation improvement through business process definition, system alignment, and optimization of system usage. Lead cross-functional efforts to address business process or systems issues. Identify productivity improvement tasks, collect productivity improvement data from application team, and quantify productivity improvement data to determine savings. Interact with business partners to gather requirements for project. Define the scope and plan of projects to execute and manage team performance. Ensure stakeholder communication including status reporting, risk management, and issue escalation to ensure project is delivered within budget, on schedule, and within scope. Travel and work and client sites as assigned.
Job requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus eighteen (18) months of software development and testing experience. Requires one (1) year of experience in the following: Feasibility analysis, solution analysis and design; monitoring application including backup and recovery system implementation, system performance optimization, and change data capture processes; Java/J2EE Servlets; Tomcat Application Server; and Java web services. The employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of described experience in lieu of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) plus eighteen (18) months of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
