Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong research and analytical abilities, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients affected by medical malpractice. Trial experience and familiarity with medical terms are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and counsel clients
  • Review medical records
  • Consult with medical experts to develop case theories
  • Draft lawsuits and motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Litigate cases in court
  • Negotiate settlements and liens

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate and license to practice law in Illinois and Missouri, or licensed in one jurisdiction and willing to take the bar in the other
  • 2 years of experience practicing law, with at least 1 year of deposition and trial experience
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Basic knowledge of medical terms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working in medical malpractice/personal injury law
  • Physician deposition experience
  • Jury trial experience
