To achieve our vision, we are searching for a talented certified School Psychologist with a Masters degree or a Ph.D. in School Psychology, and a proven record of successfully supporting students in crisis and propelling student growth and achievement.
As a School Psychologist at Zeta, you will be an integral part of the school community and the driver of student support and social and emotional learning. With the support and guidance of school leadership, as well as experienced network staff and expert consultants, you will oversee impressive individualized growth for students who struggle with emotion regulation, social perspective-taking, social problem-solving or self control.
You will utilize your passion for social and emotional learning (SEL) to create innovative and impactful curriculum, coach teachers on effective execution, and ensure schoolwide immersion of all of Zeta’s SEL program components. You will build strong relationships with students and families and lead Zeta’s initiative to ensure students develop and display Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity and Community, our “EPIC” values, driving for strong school culture.
The School Psychologist works closely with the Student Achievement Team and the Committee on Special Education to identify and support students with disabilities. In this role you will be an important part of the Response to Intervention (RtI) Team and will conduct all monolingual psycho-educational assessments, ensuring each student receives appropriate, targeted and effective support.
Here at Zeta, you will receive constant support while working with a world-class team. Every week, school teams have dedicated time to engage in professional development workshops and mindfulness routines, which you would assist in creating and leading. Throughout the school day, you would support and coach teaching staff, increasing student success and building teacher capacity for a wide range of student needs .
As an experienced professional with specialized knowledge, you would communicate often with other school psychologists and network staff, consulting on challenging cases and completing SEL and student support-specific professional development.
