OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

ZeroFox seeks a Principal Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of our Threat Intelligence and External Attack Surface Management (EASM) product offerings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success, to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' evolving needs and differentiate us in the market.

Role and responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for our Threat Intelligence and External Attack Surface Management (EASM) product portfolio in alignment with the company's business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify key market needs, trends, and opportunities in the cybersecurity landscape, particularly within Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
  • Drive product planning and prioritization, working closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, features, and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and collateral to drive product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Serve as a technical domain expert on Threat Intelligence and EASM, providing guidance and support to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Evangelize our products through participation in industry events, conferences, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives, establishing our company as a leader in the cybersecurity space.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of our products, iterating and optimizing based on data-driven insights.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in cybersecurity, integrating relevant advancements into our product roadmap and strategy.
  • Mentor junior product managers on both best practices and technical domain knowledge.
Required qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Product management and domain experience, with demonstrated technical expertise in cybersecurity products, particularly in External Attack Surface Management, Pen Testing, or Threat Intelligence, typically obtained in 5-7 years.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the development and launch of complex, enterprise-grade software products, from ideation to market adoption.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer needs and market insights into actionable product requirements and strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and market orientation, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and competitive differentiation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Desired qualifications and skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Experience as a cyber threat intelligence analyst or SOC analyst consuming threat intelligence.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, best practices, and knowledge of Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
  • MBA degree.
