ZeroFox seeks a Payroll Specialist to assist with all payroll-related functions for the US and various international locations. This entails following all applicable regulatory agency guidelines, laws and requirements, assuring compliance and accurate payroll activities/reporting and assisting non-U.S. Countries in payroll practices as needed. In this role, you would help ensure proper payroll administration standards, policies, and procedures, analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement while collaborating closely with all departments and vendors. You would be serving in a key role, maintaining high degrees of confidentiality, strict observance and adherence to regulations impacting Company compliance.
Role and responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of semi-monthly payroll for salary & hourly US employees
• Assist with the preparation of Global payroll
• Ensure timecards are approved by managers for hourly employees
• Process new hires within payroll system
• Review payroll tax filings and W-2's prepared by a third party for accuracy
• Assist with compliance filings
• Assist with expense reimbursement system
• Review wages reported/computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
• Calculate and issue final wages for terminated employees
• Process wage garnishments and levies
• Maintain appropriate internal controls and procedures for payroll activities
• Provide customer support for all employee payroll-related questions
• Assist the Payroll Manager in maintaining payroll guidelines, issues/discrepancies and collaborate with departmental managers as needed
• Coordinate with the Payroll Manager and HR to ensure all changes have been entered into the HR/payroll system
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required qualifications and skills

• Payroll experience, typically obtained in 1 years
• Experience with ADP WFN a plus
• Highly organized, attentive, have a sense of urgency
• Skillful in learning new processes and systems
• MicroSoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently, appropriately prioritize and manage competing priorities and deadlines and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be reliable with adhering to strict deadlines

Other Information

• This position will report to the Payroll Manager
• This role is based out of our office in Baltimore, MD
• This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends as needed.
