Zenimax Media is Hiring a Production Coordinator Near Dallas, TX

Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in our development studio located just outside of Dallas, TX.

id Software consistently creates award winning games built on our industry leading technology. The Production Coordinator role is a key production position and the glue of the development process. They work with Feature Production and Department Leadership to organize initiatives, schedule work, and inform on team velocity to help achieve the goals of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Feature Producers, and Department leadership to inform on department availability and task requests for all features.
  • Help to develop and maintain a production schedule by managing task creation and informing of overall team velocity.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental tasking to deliver and integrate elements into the game engine.
  • Regular reporting to Feature Production of status, trajectory, and team needs. 
  • Timely creation of tasking, dashboards and meeting set ups and meeting notes. 

Qualifications

  • Outstanding organization and communication skills
  • Experience with common scheduling tools such as Jira and ShotGrid. 
  • Critical thinking, with the ability to adapt quickly to change, communicate impact, and align with the new direction.
  • Work with cross discipline teams to communicate production best practices and ensure they are followed.
  • Collaborative, and positive attitude towards what is best for the team and project. 

Preferred Skills

  • B.S. / B.A. or equivalent education from a university game program 
  • Some experience in a related field, not limited to the video game industry. 
  • Passion for video games and the gaming industry, specifically a familiarity with id Software games.
  • Experience with Jira and ShotGrid administration
  • Scrum/Agile experience and/or certification

Salary Range

Production Coordinator - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $50,000 - $100,000 per year.

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are not guaranteed.
