Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Desktop SupportTechnician.

Notes:

• Onsite role.
• Work hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Time.

Description:

• Need assistance confirming all printers and IOT's are properly configured and/or reconfiguring across all the departments.
• The effort must be completed, by building, just ahead of the network refresh schedule.
• The resources will also be required to be available for desk-side assistance during go-live weeks.
• Candidates must be able to do the following tasks:
• configure printers by hostname or static IP.
• install and configure printers on workstations.
• configure IOT - any that may be encountered in the environment.
• assist and troubleshoot with end-users as needed.
• assist in documenting technical support procedures and maintaining CMDB.
• In addition, the candidates must be able to perform basic computer hardware troubleshooting and remediation, as well as research unfamiliar scenarios.

Required Experience:

• Network printer config on various models.
• Experience adding printers on both Windows and Mac.
• Experience running commands in both Windows and Mac.
• Candidates must be motivated and a self-starter but also know when to consult and escalate issues.
