We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Assistant to manage and maintain our inventory system. The ideal candidate will ensure our inventory is accurate, organized, and efficiently handled. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our supply chain and overall business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required; track orders and investigate problems.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and distribution of products.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely reordering of stock.
• Maintain organized records of inventory transactions.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding inventory availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall inventory management process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Inventory Assistant or similar role.
• Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.05 - $24.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
