Job Duties

• Applying past experience/knowledge to expand into combustion CFD projects.
• Conducting research and development projects and real industrial applications of combustion technology and CFD, with specific focus on burner combustion technology.
• This will involve projects including but not limited to premixed, staged fuel, staged air and internal flue gas recirculation burner applications
• Solving problems for industrial applications
• Focus on combustion and fluid flow related tasks
• Work with complicated geometry, fluid flows, turbulence and reactions within CFD

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) required
• Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Combustion experience required
• Extensive ANSYS FLUENT and/or SIEMENS STAR-CCM experience required
• Aptitude to solve complex and multi-faceted industrial problem
• Experience in studies related to CFD analysis required
• Programming experience preferred (PYTHON, JAVA, C , FORTRAN, R)
• LINUX experience preferred
