ZBA Group is a real estate holdings company looking to build a stronger foundation necessary to grow to new and competitve levels. The ideal candidate has knowlege of basic property management skills and procedures, should be motivated to learn in a fast paced environment and work well independently, with the property manager, or in the property manager's absense as needed. We own and manage approximately 150 commercial/residential units.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the properties
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants
- Collect and process rent payments
- Daily follow up of collections and rent court procedures
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Paying utility bills and invoicing tenants as necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or G-Suite
- Understanding of subsidized housing is a plus
- Experience with Quickbooks, Buildium or other comparable property management software
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat is a plus
- Ability to understand lease ledgers and answer tenant questions regarding lease ledgers
-Knowledge of rent court laws in Baltimore city and Baltimore County with commercial and residential tenants is a plus
