Job Description
As Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with procurement activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Essential Role Functions
Documents Maintenance
Permits and Licenses Maintenance
USDA/FDA releases
Master Data Maintenance
Invoices and Landed Cost Approval
Tracing Expiration Dates
Working with Donation Organizations
Work Experience/Requirements for This Role
1-2 years experience in Purchasing or similar role
MS Excel
Solid Organization Skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good collaboration skills
SAP knowledge and experience within import/purchasing area is a plus
At least HS diploma; preferable associate degree in supply chain, Business Administration or related fields
Schedule
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:30AM – 5:00PM CST
Work Location: Cicero, IL
