RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Cooking experience preferred.
- Good customer service skills.
- Maintain a high standard of sanitation and safety in work areas.
- Oversee maintenance of equipment to ensure proper working order and safety.
- Preparation of food for residents, guests and staff in an attractive and palatable fashion.
- Fast paced work environment and special event preparations.
- Avoid food waste and the efficient use of leftovers. Proper labeling, dating, and storage of leftover food items.
- Oversee proper storage of goods and proper rotation of stock in kitchen. Maintain the cleaning of refrigerator and freezer reach-ins.
- Any additional task assigned by the Executive Chef or Food Service Director.
