Job Summary:
The Medical Records Technician has the primary responsibility for maintaining the Health Information & Files including electronic health records for clients. They will ensure the highest quality and level of health care is obtained for all clients. Technician will ensure Zrpath’s compliance with requirements of the Privacy Act, Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and the Release of Information policy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry and filing tasks, including inputting and verifying data into various systems and databases.
- Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors in the entered information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy across different platforms.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to fulfill office needs, such as administrative support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and filing tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with basic data management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable and open to learning new software and tools as required.
Salary and Benefits:
The annual salary for this position is $36,000 to $40,000. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
