**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Guest Service
* Provides a "WOW" Experience to all Guests of Zankou through excellent Guest Service with a high level of energy, friendly and positive attitude
* Helps Guests by providing information and suggestions about our menu
* Takes and completes Guest order transactions on POS Station (cash register)
* Takes charge of all transactional procedures including expediting, checking for accuracy, correcting orders, and communicating with BOH team.
* Responsible for accurately processing cash and credit card transactions by following all cash handling policies
* Professionally and calmly resolves Guest complaints with manager supervision
* Greets and assists Guests, completing requests to the best of their ability at the cash register and dining area
Teamwork
* Partners with restaurant cooks to assist with prepping duties as needed such as stocking items, preparing produce and sauces, and cleaning prep areas
* Has a strong Team Member attitude and can work well with others from diverse backgrounds
* Communicates with Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding status of orders and availability of product
* Maintains all dining and restroom areas in a clean, sanitary and safe manner by cleaning all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and removing trash from the restaurant
Safety
* Understands and follows all food safety and temperature standards
* Helps maintain a safe environment for all Guests and Team Members by following all Zankou Chickens Safety procedures
All other duties as assigned
**SKILLS & EXPECTATIONS**
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule
* Willingness to adapt to a changing and growing environment
* Food Handler Certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire)
* Basic math skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Reaches, bends, squats and frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs
* Multi-tasking, organization and time-management skills
