A new high-end optometric practice in Newport Beach, CA is looking for a friendly, energetic medical receptionist to perform high-end customer service, insurance verification, stocking and inventory, scheduling appointments, submitting insurance claims, answering phones and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Computer skills are a must. Evening and Saturday availability is a necessity. We are looking for applicants who desire long term employment only.

Job Duties (not limited to):

• Front desk responsibilities (answering phones, data entry, faxing, scanning)
• Frame selection/dispensing, repairs, and adjustments
• Placing glasses and contact lenses orders
• Insurance verification/billing
• Pretesting
• Checking patients in/out
• General light cleaning of the office

Qualifications:

• Personable/friendly/outgoing with strong communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Exceptional work ethic
• Farsi or Spanish is a plus
• Be able to work independently and in team setting
• Weekend is a must
• Be punctual

All employees are cross-trained.
