Description

Overall responsible for all processes and procedures in the Sample Warehouse work center under the management of the Ecommerce Supervisor. Oversees and controls all inventory actions dealing with sales samples i.e., receiving, department transfers, pulling/packing daily sales sample orders, prepares labels, shipping tags, picking slips, and work orders among other products. Serves as primary back up to the Z Warehouse Coordinator. Additionally, is required to interface and coordinate with several key departments outside of Operations, i.e., International Contract Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service. Supports the updating of daily metric in Ecommerce and helps in all support areas of the department as needed. 

ESSENTIAL DUTEIS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This position assists the studio with on-site tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

• Coordinates all sale sample requirements with several departments throughout the Company.
• Provides briefings and training sessions dealing with sale samples to departments outside of Operations. 
• Maintains the Sales Sample Warehouse area, including general clean-up.
• Serves as primary back up to the Z Warehouse Coordinator.
• Operates office equipment such as photocopiers, computers, document shredders, fax machines, multi-line telephones, label-making machines, and multi-tasked bar code verifier machines.
• Assists the Inventory Management Team in the physical and accounting of inventory items.
• Updates and maintains daily metrics in the ECommerce Department.
• Assists in all functions of Ecommerce department as needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 
• One (1) to two (2) years related experience preferred; at least six (6) months required. 
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively interact in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees of the company.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to tactfully deal with various personalities throughout the company and deal effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. 
• Must be proficient in utilizing computer programs for processing data and writing reports. Required program applications include Microsoft Outlook (intermediate level), Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Microsoft Word (intermediate level), Apprise.
