The Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities and results related to the Cutlery business. Through a variety of selling approaches, the Cutlery Sales Manager will grow revenue by developing and maintaining productive distributor relationships. 1. Support Company's annual business plan budgets by meeting and exceeding assigned sales quotas: including new product introductions, promotional sales, new customer additions, and customer line extensions. Supports all marketing & sales events as assigned.2. Travel with all sales representatives, with a minimum of two visits per Manufacturers Rep annually. Perform all sales management and training duties as assigned, including appropriate territory coverage. 3. Call on top 25 customers on a regular basis with focus on developing a working relationship with distributor senior management. The Sales Manager must know and have established relationships with top executives at all top 25 accounts.4. Participate in joint sales calls with distributors outside sales reps. Joint sales calls will often require product demonstrations, coordinating and documenting product trials, and resharpening training with end-users. 5. Participate in the key account planning process, which includes specific quarterly review and planning process with each territory. This process shall include reviewing and establishing quarterly objectives, sales results, and other pertinent topics. Ensure completion and reporting of these plans as agreed.6. Ensure all company property is accounted for and maintained properly. Maintain travel and other expense budgets as assigned. Must report all company vehicle, business accidents, and moving violation tickets to supervisor immediately. Maintain confidentiality regarding all company proprietary information including but not limited to, product information, pricing, customer lists, customer records, customer call records, marketing information, sales plans, and all electronic data/records.7. All other duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred with at least five (5) years of Sales experience is required. Must prove a record of continued growth and success.Ability to speak Spanish fluently is a plus. Comfortable working with machinery, in manufacturing facilities and food processing plants.Must have versatility and flexibility in adjusting to changing business needs and priorities, and strong communications skills, verbal and written. This includes basic knowledge using Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong team focus and ability to work with others, both internal and external to the organization. Must be bondable and always possess a valid driver license.Physical Demand RequirementsOccasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers to touch, pick or pinch objects; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use foot or leg controls; talk or hear.
