Job Details
Responsibilities of the Sr. Site Reliability Engineer include:
- Oversee technical designs for software solutions utilizing a combination of Open Source components, COTS, and custom developed components
- Deploy, configure, and maintain services across production, QA, and development environments on platforms like OpenStack and Docker
- Develop enabling infrastructure using Terraform
- Create deployment automation tools with Ansible
- Implement automation and configuration management solutions using SaltStack and Jenkins
- Develop encryption solutions with Hashicorp Vault
- Build a large-scale Software Defined Network (SDN) using Guardicore
- 8 years of experience developing and operating mission-critical systems
- Strong Linux configuration and administration skills
- Proficiency in a scripting language like Python
- Automation experience with a solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes in a production environment
- Experience with OpenStack, HTTP proxies, RedHat Enterprise Linux, and/or FreeBSD
- Experience with CMDB and ITIL platforms like ServiceNow
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 Hourly: $70/hr - $74/hr
