Piper Health & Sciences is seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join an architecture & engineering consulting team in the Towson, MD area. This role completes mechanical designs for new and existing facilities.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Mechanical Engineer include:
Develop and revise mechanical design drawings and specifications for various types of industries, including education, government, healthcare, and/or mission-critical facilities.
Perform accurate design calculations in regards to mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection.
Perform cost estimations/calculations associated with design plans.
Qualifications for the Sr. Mechanical Engineer include:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar vertical is required.
5 years of experience working in the mechanical engineering, construction engineering, and/or architectural engineering industry.
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is strongly preferred.
Compensation for the Sr. Mechanical Engineer includes:
Salary Range: approximately $110,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience
