Job Details
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
- Evaluate process and instrumentation diagrams to diagnose systems in the facility (pumps, valves, tanks, distillation columns)
- Own design and formulation changes/requests, and address non-conformities and deviations
- Provide technical support and initiate process improvement measures on existing equipment throughout the facility
- Work with validation protocols on equipment, including utilities
- Maintain safety while handling raw materials and chemicals such as: Sodium hydroxide, ethyl acetate, nitric acid, citric acid, ethanol, ammonia, acetic acids.
- Provide routine support and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- 2-5 years of experience in an engineering production environment or related field
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues in equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, distillation columns, etc.
- General utilities experience
- B.S./M.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study
- $45-65 per hour depending on relevant industry experience
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc.
