Job Details

Piper Companies is looking for a Network Technician for a Contract-to-hire opportunity with a large healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities for the Network Technician:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor network performance, and reliability making sure to implement updates and improvements as needed.
  • Work with EUS Technician to provide End-User support connectivity and wireless related concerns
Requirements for the Network Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Network Technician.
  • Clear knowledge of network protocols especially TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANS
  • Familiarity with Network Equipment that are common to today changing
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently
  • Effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Technicians and End-users
  • Ability to work between multiple local sites and take care of issues as needed
  • Relevant certifications ( e.g, CompTIA Network , CCNA) would be a real advantage.
Compensation for the Network Technician:
  • Targeting $20-$25/hr depending on experience
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package
