• This shift usually starts around 6:30 a.m. but can depend on the day, due to the fact that our corporate headquarters is located in Pflugerville, TX. and we serve all of Central Texas. If overnight trips are required for service jobs, the company pays for the techs hotel and they will receive $50 per diem, per day. The tech is required to provide all of their own hand tools and we provide power tools.

As a Solar Service Technician, you will be working under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, and responsible for diagnosing, repairing, as well as performing preventative, and corrective maintenance on various solar systems that are experiencing issues. Most importantly, you will also be responsible for ensuring that our commitments to customers are met and kept to the company's standards of customer service and satisfaction.

Essential functions:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial installations to maintain warranty coverage
• Displaying a professional and knowledgeable manner to communicate effectively and always prioritize the customer
• Applying reason and logic to solve problems and think through troubleshooting issues in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensuring all repair and maintenance services comply with applicable local, state, and federal codes

Work environment: This role is executed in an outdoor, vehicle and warehouse environment. Routinely working with fragile solar equipment, and vehicle/equipment transportation necessities.
Physical demands: Thisrole will require the physical demands of sitting,standing, bending, and lifting 60 lb. items. Installation assignments can take place on various outdoor terrains and equipment used will vary depending on specific project
requirements.
Travel required: Local Travel Only-Company Vehicle Provided
Required education and experience:

• Valid State Driver’s License with clean MVR
• 2 years performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• 2 years’ Service Technician experience (previous experience in the Solar or HVAC industry accepted)
• Experience installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures
• Experience installing various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Experience troubleshooting motor and control systems
• Consistent record of meeting standards for all quality and safety codes/requirements including local, state, and federal

levels
Additional eligibility requirements:

• If hired, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
