Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Estimator who will play a pivotal role in our project development process. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, from initial concept to final proposal. You will collaborate closely with our project management and design teams to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, and Senior Living construction projects, considering all aspects of the project, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
Budget Analysis: Evaluate project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project costs and ensure they align with the company's financial goals and client budgets.
Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other partners to collect quotes and ensure the accuracy of project cost estimates.
Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options to enhance project profitability without compromising quality.
Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit competitive and well-documented bids to potential clients and partners.
Cost Database Maintenance: Maintain and update a comprehensive cost database, ensuring that it reflects current market conditions and industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine project cost estimates throughout all project phases.
Risk Analysis: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges that could impact project costs, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
