YWCA Tulsa is Hiring a RHP Program Supervisor Near Tulsa, OK

Description

YWCA Tulsa is currently seeking a full-time Refugee Health Promotion Program Supervisor andwill play a crucial role in leading our Refugee Health Team who works with our YWCA refugees as they navigate the medical system. This position will provide leadership to a team of health navigators by reviewing data and creating action plans to support our clients’ goals of self-sufficiency. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate logistics of new client intakes, health assessments, and plans of care. 
  • Utilize data to provide targeted health outreach and strategic health education classes. 
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings and team meetings. 
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in fulfilling their duties effectively. 
  • Familiarize oneself with the data system and reports used for the program and grant. 
  • Ensure proficiency in utilizing the system to extract relevant information. 
  • Ensure understanding of grant goals, objectives, contract requirements, allocations, and budget. 
  • Utilize reports and data to support areas of opportunity and growth for both team members and the program. 
  • Manage and update all electronic records continuously as client information changes. 
  • Train new team members on the intake process, Apricot database, health assessments, and plans of care. 
  • Provide or arrange for translation and interpretation services for clients as needed. 
  • Communicate timely and collaborate closely with the refugee health team to promote the self-sufficiency of clients. 
  • Conduct regular follow-up calls to clients when needed. 
  • Identify and develop relationships with other community service organizations that assist refugees. 
  • Participate in YWCA functions as needed and requested by the manager and/or Director. 
  • Comply with all YWCA policies and procedures. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, international relations, or related field preferred. 
  • Previous work with refugee or immigrant populations is beneficial. 
  • Understanding and respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds. 
  • Clear communication, both verbal and written, is essential. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 
  • Strong ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management. 
  • Dedication to the mission and goals of refugee support services.
