YWCA of Southern Arizona is Hiring a Women's Business Center Program Coordinator Near Tucson, AZ

The Program Coordinator supports the Program with administrative support and program coordination. The person in this role will work specifically with Spanish-speaking business owners and entrepreneurs. Being bilingual (English-Spanish) is a requirement to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the Program Manager in developing and implementing effective programming.
  • Assists the Program Manager in evaluating the program and tracking program effectiveness. Including Data entry on a weekly basis.
  • Provides administrative support by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling program-related workshops and events.
  • Assists with creating, coordinating, and facilitating presentations and workshops to businesses and other community organizations.
  • Maintains relationships with community partners and promotes program services.
  • Assists with recruiting, training, scheduling, and managing program volunteers.
  • Provides mentorship, resources, and guidance to program participants.
  • Conducts outreach in the community, tables at events, and attends community partner events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to read, write and speak both Spanish and English
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to work effectively with the Board and staff, volunteers, and program participants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent related experience
  • Experience assisting or coordinating a non-profit or community-based program

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Working Environment
