Duties:

  • Ensuring that the immediate and long-term needs of our patients are met through quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. 
  • Assisting patients with basic hygiene needs including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and undressing.
  • Monitoring patients’ vital signs, recording intake and output, and updating patient records regularly.
  • Providing a high level of emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering an environment of healing.
  • Assisting with patient mobility as needed, which may include turning, positioning, and transferring patients using the correct procedure.
  • Adhering strictly to infection control and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Excellent patient service delivery skills with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in medical software and Microsoft office programs
  • An understanding of medical terminologies, health information management, and ability to adhere strictly to health information regulations
  • Flexibility to work in shifts including some weekends and evenings
  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate required
  • 18 years old and above
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
