**Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in cash handling and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the retail industry.

**Duties:**

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers

- Scan goods and collect payments

- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets

- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information

- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store

- Keep reports of transactions

**Qualifications:**

- Experience with retail math and cash register operations

- Proficiency in POS systems, specifically Aloha POS is a plus

- Knowledge of sanitization practices, especially in food handling environments

- Familiarity with sales techniques and up-selling strategies

- Ability to bus tables and assist in maintaining cleanliness in the food industry setting

- Strong cash handling skills

Pay: $17.23 - $25.68 per hour
