YSI is seeking a highly qualified Application Programmer. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.

Functional Responsibilities:

· Under general direction, the Contractor shall provide customized software development and programming in support of the OIG’s EDS-based applications. This task area addresses customized software applications, database applications, enterprise applications, and bug fixes/patching of the EDS modules utilizing Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, and SQL server technologies. A non-exhaustive list of examples of the types of Enterprise Applications including but not limited to the major systems listed below to be maintained, enhanced and developed under this contract are:

  • Enterprise Data System (EDS)
  • Time Tracking System (TTS)
  • E-Subpoena
  • Performance Appraisal System (ePAS)
  • Full Text Search
  • Enhanced Connectivity
  • Improved Reporting

The above listed applications (and other similar applications) would require a mix of database and web development tools and programming skills to implement. Work on this contract is intended to cover the full range of database applications development and database administration in support of the OIG mission.

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Preference of Bachelor’s degree in software development, computer

science or IT-related field.

  • Five (5) years of experience or equivalent work experience as a systems

applications developer/programmer in a variety of the following areas:

  • Automated Workflow System Development and Integration
  • Database Design
  • Enterprise Systems Development and Integration
  • Feasibility Studies
  • Independent Verification and Validation
  • Information Technology Research and Development
  • Integration Support
  • Configuration Management and Maintenance Support
  • Software Development
  • Software Engineering
  • Software Life Cycle Management
  • Software Maintenance
  • Software Quality Assurance
  • System and Software Design, Development, and Integration
  • System Design Alternative Studies
  • Test and Evaluation Support
  • Application Reports Development and Support
  • Training Development (including computer-based training)
  • Enterprise Web Technology Research and Development
  • Enterprise Web Integration Support
  • Enterprise Web Applications Development Support
  • Enterprise Web System Training Development (including Computer Based Training)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
