High-end detailing, refinishing, restoration and preservation company in need of an experienced refinishing assistant. You will be asked to express knowledge about detailing, sanding, buffing and brushing skills. We are willing to train to perfect your skills, but basic knowledge will be required. Work is extremely labor intensive, and the hours are long. May need to work weekends and must have a vehicle. The position is available ASAP. We will be working mainly on the water on vessels up to 100 feet. Contact us to inquire.

Responsibilities:

• Repair fiberglass material to specified size and patches defective surfaces.
• May restore furniture and wood floors
• Hand brushes, paint, or other finishing solution on repaired areas and waxes and buffs area to specified finish.
• Establishes and maintains a preventive maintenance program for boat and yacht finishes in the marine industry
• Repairs wooden and fiberglass boats according to blueprints and customer specifications, using hand-tools and power tools
• Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Detail, restore, wash, wax and vacuum interiors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display boats and service customers

• Inspect product’s overall condition so it will be acceptable to the customer
• Inform manager of any required repairs.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies used and inform Manager needed items
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures
• Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications: * Must have a vehicle

• Ability to work early morning to late evening
• Ability to work 6 days a week if needed

• Self-Driven
• Must be fit, flexible and able to move swiftly and safely on and off boats carrying things and working in different positions in order to complete their tasks.
• Must be able to swim and not have a fear of heights. May need to climb ladders and work on boat tops.
