Job Description: Front Office Specialist

Position Summary:

We are excited to grow our Medical Office Team and are looking to hire a Full-Time Front Office Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy
  • Promote products and services through public relations
  • Create thought leadership materials
  • Manage Birdeye: Check-in, EMR and patient accounts
  • Billing Question Knowledge and filling
  • Schedule patients return visits
  • Ask patient about the visit and send Birdeye reviews
  • Send referrals and manage work comp
  • Obtain personal and insurance information
  • Patient Calls
  • Manage front office
  • Help with billing and office administration

Requirements:

  • Previous medical experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledgeable and familiar with the E-Clinicals system
  • High school diploma required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • 2 year of front desk experience/ medical background
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication within and across teams internally and externally.
  • Proactive and self-sufficient nature, and enthusiasm toward assignments
  • Ability to work independently

Daily Routine:

  • Prepare for patients visit
  • Greet and Check-in
  • Take insurance ID
  • Verify and update Insurance (if required)
  • Update missing information in ECW
  • Let NP/Tech/LVN know that the patient is ready
  • Keep patient informed about scheduled

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
