SHIPPING ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of the Ogden facility. Helping with orders, ensuring accuracy, and loading goods onto trucks. This requires self-motivation and some equipment operation.
SHIPPING ASSOCIATE JOB DUTIES:
1. Shipping Duties:

• Picking, wrapping and strapping items from the warehouse based on customer orders
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of order contents.
• Generating shipping labels, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
• Loading goods onto trucks or shipping containers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Notifying appropriate personnel of any issues or discrepancies.

1. Receiving Duties:

• Unloading incoming shipments from trucks or shipping containers in a safe and efficient manner, verifying their contents, and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
• Recording and documenting received items, including their quantities and condition.
• Sorting, labeling, and organizing received goods for storage or further processing.
• Checking delivery documentation and matching it with purchase orders or invoices.
• Notifying appropriate personnel of any issues or discrepancies with received items.

1. Inventory Management:

• Moving inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Unpacking and shelving received items in designated storage areas.
• Assisting with periodic physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.

1. Equipment and Safety:

• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment to move, stack, or load/unload goods.
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Reporting any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

1. General Warehouse Tasks:

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties.
• Driving a box truck to transport materials between facilities, to deliver to customers, or pickup materials.

SHIPPING ASSOCIATE JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Forklift experience (At least 6 months)
• Team player
• Self motivation
• English proficiency
• Basic math skills
• Driving
• Safety driven
• Heavy lifting and standing lone periods of time

SHIPPING ASSOCIATE WAGE:

• $19

SHIPPING ASSOCIATE DAY SHIFT:

• Monday-Friday | 8am- 5pm
