Young Women's Christian Association of Houston is Hiring a Community Enrichment Program Manager Near Houston, TX

Reports To: Executive Director

SUMMARY

The Community Enrichment Program Manager will oversee and implement the youth and entrepreneurship programs and participate in leading quality enrichment curriculum to participants within the community while providing a quality experience to youth, women, and families.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Program Implementation & Delivery – Establish and implement program guidelines and delivery models consistent with program objectives and YWCA’s mission that comply with funding and grant requirement and applicable laws.

- Quality- The Community Enrichment Program Manager will work with a diverse group of people. Manage the preparations of public relation materials and projects related to educational and meaningful programming. Identify and recruit new quality programs that are aligned with the YWCA Houston mission.

- Leadership- Monitor current trends and best practices necessary to meet the needs of the participants. Advocate for opportunities that will leverage the participants growth with the program.

- Daily Operation- Understand evidence-based programming and required reporting metrics to capture and track the program weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities.

- Relationship Building- Develop communication networks among the community. Serves as a liaison with YWCA Houston, the community and other organizations for the establishment of partnerships.

- Perform and complete other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES

- Perform clerical and general office functions, including typing, preparing, and maintaining records.

- Must be culturally competent in cultures and have a wholistic delivery of enrichment educational towards the programs.

- Participates in workshops, seminars, educational programs and other activities that promote professional growth and development.

- Responds to inquiries, requests for assistance and/or direction, and any other requests from personnel within a reasonable and timely period.

- Work with managerial staff to define task work breakdown structures, milestones, and scope to meet all agency and program deadlines.

- Ensures policies & procedures are strictly adhered, with an emphasis on ethic code.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree.

- A minimum of 5 years of related services and supervision of staff.

- Working knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Products.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility with work schedule.

- Knowledge of community resources available throughout the city of Houston and Harris County.

- Strong ability to represent the interests of the agency, interact effectively and build successful collaborative relationships with program participants, as well as other community partners.

- Willingness and desire to assist clients of diverse backgrounds; and

- Must have reliable transportation, valid Texas driver license, and evidence of insurability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
