Summary

Young Living is looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking, entry-level tax associate. This role is responsible for providing support to the tax department and assisting with the preparation, filing, and payment of both income tax and non-income-based tax returns and ensuring that the company’s worldwide tax positions comply with applicable US and local country laws to minimize the company’s overall tax liability.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the preparation of workpapers related to the US income tax filings
• Assist with the preparation of the FinCEN Form 114 - Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts Reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of CAT tax, withholding tax, personal property tax and real property tax returns.
• Assist with various W-2 inclusion items.
• Assist with the federal / state notices and income tax audits as they arise.
• Assist with various tax specialty projects, including R&D study, transfer pricing, and tax consulting projects, etc.
• Collaborate with accounting, legal, IT, and other departments to accomplish assigned objectives.

Required Education

Associate's degree in accounting, business or any other related fields.

• Working experience in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not supervise employees.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and / or diffused in the work environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use manual dexterity to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, and controls and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.

m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
