DescriptionThe primary function of the role is providing administrative support for the area. This includes the staff as well as the committee, leaders, parents and kids. With that said, the ability to identify and meet the immediate need is crucial, understanding that may include answering a camp question or it may mean offering a listening ear. The area admin works closely with staff to help with communication, fundraising communication and event planning. The admin is part of the team working to reach the goals of sustaining and growing ministry in Anchorage. ResponsibilitiesRespond to correspondence
Email (respond within 24 hours whenever possible)
Respond to any written inquiries
Create/generate area publications
Support area staff in procuring/creating content for area newsletter
Create club/event postcards and/or flyers
o If applicable, send prayer e-mails and monthly donor updates
Assist in creation of personal support mailings
Maintain area website
Send thank-you letters to donors
Financial Administration
Manage monthly expenses
Pay area bills (rent, utilities, internet, etc)
Create and submit your expense report through Concur
Create and submit expense reports for staff members and volunteers in Concur (if applicable)
Process donations
Scan incoming checks
Send to Income Processing w/appropriate form
Once a check posts on YL Connect delete the scanned image
Track donations through YL Connect
Regularly review Mission Unit Revenue Report
Review Cash Flow (if applicable)
Database Administration
Create/update various contact lists within YL Connect
