York Analytical is seeking a full-time field technician (M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) to collect drinking water, surface water, and groundwater samples following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) developed by the lab. Environmental Sciences degree preferred, not required. Must be able to use field meters for chlorine, pH, temperature, and multi-parameter field probes for groundwater sampling. (Training provided) Must be able to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
Candidates must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and be able to lift coolers full of samples and ice that may weigh up to 50 lbs. This job requires driving between locations to collect samples in a company vehicle, so a clean driving record is required. Candidates must be able to interact with clients in a pleasant and professional manner to schedule and confirm appointments. Must be able to work well individually or with other team members.
Familiarity with Google workspace and Microsoft office are a necessity. This candidate must be willing to perform basic lab tasks, such as bottle prep, sample disposal and physical parameter testing.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
