Software QA Engineer - BLE, UWB
* We need a test engineer to work alongside other QA team members to perform functional validation of Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod/Find My accessories in our Santa Clara Office.
Duties:
* All experiments in the queue are performed in a timely manner.
* Communication with the team is clear, effective and timely.
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and generate test report using internal tools
* Report quality issues/defects by providing relevant logs, regression data and detailed debug information
* Troubleshoot issues and perform failure analysis
* Catalog and maintain the accessory inventory for testing
Must-haves for Test Engineer
* Seasoned professional with 4 years of experience testing consumer electronics
* Scripting experience in Python or equivalent
* Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Ultra Wide Band
* Experience testing FW OTA updates
* Experience running command line tools to monitor logs and debug issues
* Experience in functional and end-to-end testing
* Experience filing bugs/issues using internal tools
* Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results
* Ability to work independently and thrive in fast-paced environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to describe and document clearly
Preferred for Test Engineer
* Experience testing FW OTA updates is highly preferred.
Education
BS Computer Science/Engineering or relevant experience as Software QA Engineer
