Chemical Lab Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Wilmington, DE.
The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:
- BS/MS Chemistry with a minimum of two years of analytical experience
- HPLC, UPLC, LCMS
- GC, GCMS
- GPC
- Karl Fisher titrator, rheometer, UV-vis spectrophotometer
- Paying $35 - $42 per hour; depending on experience
- Analytical measurements in support of R&D/pilot production of materials supplied to customers.
- Support analytical measurements for molecular weight characterization, determination of residual monomers and residual solvents, identify unknown components and quantitate overall purity for polymers and small molecules.
- Manage and maintain analytical laboratories, including writing SOPs, equipment maintenance and upkeep, and safety documentation.
- Maintain electronic lab notebooks and deliver analytical reports.
