Project Coordinator II is needed for a contract opportunity with our Energy Industry client located in Pennsylvania.
Job Details
Duration: 24 Months Contract (potential extension)
Start date: April 2024
Location: Hybrid in PA or Remote
Hourly pay rate: $28.17 - $35.21 Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external customers, cross-functional staff and the project team to coordinate project status.
  • Works closely with Project Manager from an external vendor to ensure project success.
  • Delivers projects on time, within budgetary constraints and within negotiated scope.
  • Ensures effective communications and relationships between customers and project team members are maintained.
  • Keep close contact with key customer representatives to ensure solutions are meeting their expectations and providing them with valuable information-sharing capabilities.
  • Work closely with the end users, business technologists, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs.
  • Work with Project Manager to review project plans to help determine time frame and procedures for accomplishing goals.
  • Manage scope creep within enterprise organization that is highly-regulated.
  • Develop internal communication materials such as procedures, training guides and occasional articles for PJM's daily internal newsletter.
  • Prepare status reports for management using Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Collect and analyze feedback and lessons learned documentation.
  • Perform project close-out activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendors that have a significant role in project delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven skill in managing risk with constrained projects (managing competing tension between budget, schedule, resources, and quality).
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience in presenting at multiple levels of the organization, from team meetings to executives.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Understands the importance of a good, well planned and executed roll-out of a product to internal or external clients, including support documentation and training, user training, and post roll-out issue management.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively reporting on project performance metrics.
  • The ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations.
