Yoh has an exciting, full-time opportunity for a Survey Technician to oversee survey operations for our Civil Engineering client. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of overall surveying experience, and live within a commutable distance to the office Southborough, MA for an onsite environment.

Title: Survey Technician
Compensation: $24.00-$33.00/hour (depending on experience level)

Key Responsibilities:
* Craft deed and reference maps to accurately represent survey data.
* Prepare and configure survey data to facilitate efficient field operations.
* Analyze and convert post-survey data as required for project completion.
* Execute construction layout calculations, as-built surveys, and sketches.
* Produce grade sheets and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys with precision.
* Conduct topographic analysis and generate Metes & Bounds descriptions.
* Create FEMA Elevation certificates and Subdivision Plans/Lot Consolidation Plans.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to CAD Drafters, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
* Develop mapping solutions utilizing field crew data collector files, sketches, and reference maps.
* Maintain accountability for plan presentation and survey traverse adjustments.
Qualifications:
* Possess 5 years of surveying experience, with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Demonstrate strong mathematical aptitude for accurate calculations.
* Showcase a proven track record of delivering clean and precise plan presentations.
* Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of field survey operations and the engineering/construction industry.
* Communicate effectively and organize tasks efficiently.
* Display adaptability in learning new software and technologies.
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for effective documentation and data management.
