Non-Technical Project Manager needed for Yoh Staffing Services Client, Located in Sunnyvalley, CA. This position is available as a 18 month contract with a good chance of going permanent. The business is the leading suppliers of ion implantation equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor chips in the world.
Day shift 8 hours Monday through Friday
Pay rate: $28.00 to $43.00 per hour depending on experience.
The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:

• 2 to 3 years of Project Manager experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
• Worked in a Corporate Manufacturing Setting before
• 2 to 3 years of experience
• Excellent on Microsoft Office all applications
• Self-starter hit the ground running.
• Ability to talk with Technicians and Engineers and communicate well in order to document policies and procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.
• Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
• Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented, and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate.
• Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
• Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner.

• Effectively work with other staff to maximize productivity for the project / program.
