YO1 is Hiring a Restaurant Server (3) Near Monticello, NY

We are looking to hire full-time and part-time experienced Restaurant Servers & a day time Host (both at competitive hourly rates) for YO1, a modern and unique wellness center (alternative healthcare) with guest rooms and support spaces totaling over 260,000 square feet. The position is based in Monticello, NY within Sullivan County, two hours from Manhattan and a short drive from Middletown, Port Jervis and Milford.

  • As a restaurant host, you will be responsible for handling guest initial meet and greet in an efficient and friendly manner. Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • As a restaurant server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to guests, having knowledge of daily menu selections, and ensuring the guests are having a wonderful dining experience.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, product availability, as well as additional requirements such as allergies, dietary needs, and special requests.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  • Pick up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area (setting and clearing of tables). Maintain cleanliness of work station and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.
  • Complete all closing duties, including restocking items.

  • Must be available to work Evenings & Weekends.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong team player. Must be willing and able to work well with colleagues.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification a plus.
  • Prior experience in a food-serving establishment a plus.
  • Knowledge of POS system a plus.
  • Some knowledge of wine a plus.
  • Must possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
