• With the guidance of the Executive Branch Director, develops, implements, and manages youth and teen programs, complying with all Association standards and safety procedures.
• Works in teen center and/or lead programs as needed.
• Assists in the development, monitoring of the teen department budget. Assesses and recommends budgeting for program need to the Executive Director.
• Develops collaborative relationships with community youth-serving institutions, including schools, youth agencies, parks and recreation, and service clubs.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF TEENS:

• Ability to train teen staff
• A passion for working with teens
• Minimum three years working in teen programs including program development, volunteer supervision and specialized program areas
• Bachelor's degree in education, social services, recreation or equivalent
• Ability to develop positive relationships
