Under the direction of the Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller, the Associate Corporate Controller (ACC) is responsible full cycle accounting such as month end/year end close, general ledger reconciliations , treasury management support, GAAP accrual accounting entries, account analysis, preparation of journal entries , managing fixed assets and assisting with the financial statement audit. The ACC will be an active participant in, and driver of, the data and systems needed to analyze and support YMCA of South Florida's overall financial structure and strategy . The ACC will work in tandem with the SVP & Corporate Controller to support the technology needed for functional applications, report writing, dashboards and data analysis . The ACC will maintain the integrity of the existing finance systems and support enhancements and continued automation of the systems . S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace. S/he must have an acumen for understanding modernizing business process workflows while ensuring compliance, efficiencies , and cross-functional transparency.
