This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Develops, organizes and implements high quality YMCA program(s). The Aquatics Director will plan and lead the operations of the aquatics department by developing, organizing and maintaining high quality YMCA programs and ensure proper pool maintenance. The Aquatics Director will also provide leadership, instruction and motivation for aquatics staff in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures, as well as provide swim instruction and lifeguarding as necessary. They will create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety, engagement and satisfaction. Finally, they know and exhibit the YMCA Mission through programs that strive for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
