Responsible for generating prospects, converting program members, communicating with all members (current & prospective) in a highly professional manner, selling & retaining memberships, answering the telephone, maintaining the database and various clerical tasks assigned such as communication of programs, registration assistance, and general customer service functions. Is also responsible for supporting membership growth and retention through activities to achieve strategic goals and provide outstanding customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties & responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
Education & Certification:
H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years experience in sales, marketing, customer service or related field preferred. First Aid and CPR certifications required.
Experience & Background:
Knowledge of customer service, excellent communication skills, and PC ability required. YMCA membership or operations experience preferred.
