Head Lifeguard

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring a Summer Seasonal Head Lifeguard. You will serve as the friendly hawk that keeps our members safe and our aquatics team on the ball.Schedule can include up to 28 hours per week during the year and up to 40 hours per week during summers.

Salary Range: $18.50-20.25/hour depending on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a 10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR-PR Certifications
• Current Oxygen Administration Certification
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired
• New Staff Orientation within 30 days of being hired

All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10 hours receives a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 10% of your salary to theYMCA Retirement Fund.

Full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 3 weeks of paid vacation, 88 hours of paid sick time, and 8 paid holidays per year. Free YMCA programs include: after-school programs, Camp NOCO traditional day camp, youth sports, learn to skate, and swim lessons.
