YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire an Assistant Infant Teacher for a year-round position!

Assistant Infant Teacher Salary : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Assistant Infant Teacher Hours : 8 : 30 AM-5 : 00 PM Monday - Friday : Year round 12 month position.
Assistant Infant Teacher Responsibilities :
- Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
- Leading age appropriate activities
- Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
- Building strong relationships with the parents
Assistant Infant Teacher Qualifications :
- 2-3 years experience working with infants - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc)
- Someone who is calm, patient, and understands the developmental needs infants require
Someone who can work cooperatively with the lead teacher to provide quality care
High school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Can be trained in First Aid / CPR / AED / Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
