YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire an Assistant Teacher!

Assistant Teacher Salary: $15.50 - 17.00 per hour

Assistant Teacher Hours: 1:00pm to 5:00pm (3 days per week) AND Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-11:30am

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
  • Leading age appropriate activities
  • Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children

Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

  • Have 2 years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc)
  • High school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
