YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire a Lead Summer Camp Counselor for each of our Adventure Camp, Sports Camp, and Art Camp!

Lead Summer Camp Counselor Salary: $13 - $20 per hour

Lead Summer Camp Counselor Hours: Monday - Friday through the summer, no nights or weekends! (Seasonal)

Lead Summer Camp Counselor Responsibilities:

• Safely supervise campers through daily activities including swimming
• Engage with campers and ensure all activities and lesson plans appeal to their age group
• Support the training and development of camp counselors working within your age group
• Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance
• Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship and bring enthusiasm to every camp day
• Support the lesson plans/camp objectives and ensure a safe environment for camper

Lead Summer Camp Counselor Qualifications:

• Degree (completed or in progress) in education or a related field
• 1 years experience working with children in this age group
• 18 years of age or older
